Habitat: This is a stony arroyo, with permanent water and scattered Taxodium, which is bordered by cliffs of volcanic rock. Side canyons, and other areas protected from flooding, have a dense evergreen forest composed of Pisonia, Guazuma, Ficus, and etc. Bordering dry slopes are covered by short tree forest composed of Acacia, Fouquieria, Bursera, Jatropha, and etc.
Description: Common woody vine along the arroyo bottom.
