Locality: United States, Louisiana, Saint Bernard, Fencerow that separates the cemetary from the battlefield along the eastern portions of the Park. Jean Lafitte National Park and Preserve, Chalmette Battlefield Unit, St. Bernard Parish.

Habitat: Disturbed fencerow. Soil characteristics: Schriever silty clay loam (Sh) - very deep, poorly drained, very slowly permeable soils that formed in clayey alluvium. Associated plant species: Krigia cespitosa var. cespitosa, Rumex verticillatus, Carex hyalinolepis, Urtica chamaedryoides, Calytocarpus vialis, Vicia sativa ssp. nigra, Juncus acuminatus. Rare.
Substrate: Schriever silty clay loam (Sh) - very deep, poorly drained, very slowly permeable soils that formed in clayey alluvium.
