Habitat: Batture area. Soil characteristics: Schriever silty clay loam (Sh) - very deep, poorly drained, very slowly permeable soils that formed in clayey alluvium. Associated plant species: Lantana camara, Cuscuta sp., Commelina virginica, Boerhavia erecta, Brunnichia ovata, Passiflora incarnata, Lythrum alatum var. lanceolatum, Vigna luteola, Ampelopsis arborea, Eleusine indica, Cyperus ochraceus. Uncommon.
Substrate: Schriever silty clay loam (Sh) - very deep, poorly drained, very slowly permeable soil
