Stigmatic branches in these five flowers of varying age, all are more or less viscid and glistening. The 4 smaller ones were all green. The largest on has attained nearly mature size and color, but the anthers show no signs of opening as yet. Of a number of others flowers examined all were full grown as to size and color before anthers began to dehisce.
