Locality: United States, Texas, Val Verde, Amistad National Recreation Area: Below Amistad Dam. Sample plot no. 53. Amistad Dam Quad (1:24,000).
Habitat: Deep silty soils along the banks of the Rio Grande; open mesquite-huisache woodland with Thurber's willow, Roosevelt weed, giant reed, giant cane, California bulrush, Bermuda grass, and switchgrass. With Salix exigua, Baccharis neglecta, Arundo donax, Phragmites australis, Schoenoplectus californicus, Scirpus americanus, Cynodon dactylon, Prosopis glandulosa, Acacia minuata, Hydrocotyle verticillata, and Panicum virgatum.
