Associates include Lechea mucronata, L. tenuifolia, Monarda punctata, Chamaecrista fasciculata, Andropogon virginicus, Juncus marginatus, Stylosanthes biflora, Heterotheca pilosa, Rudbeckia hirta, Ambrosia psilostachya, Croton capitatus, Helianthemum sp., Oenothera rhombipetala.
