Habitat: Ascending, tall, short-jointed; open grounds. Soil: mucky. Flowers: green, terminal elongated spike. Color: green. Leaves: narrow, linear, one on each joint. Rather rare. A tall sprawling grass.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
