Locality: United States, Texas, Bee, On the Brophy property which is about 1 mi east of the old Chase naval air station (State Penitentiary), ca 8 mi SE of Beeville, upper drainage of Spring Creek.
Habitat: Drainage of creek. Low scrub on high ground, creekbottoms with scattered Live oak and thick understory of Ehretia, Xanthoxylum fagara, Condalia, Colubrina among others. Abundant reclining perennial herbs, florets white to lightly lavender.
Reproductive Condition: flowering=early
