Habitat: Rare in Missions area during 2001-2002, noted only here; a few plants in vaguely moist silty soil on unshaded bank. Associates include Acmella oppositifolia, Cyperus odoratus, Aster subulatus, Sagittaria platyphylla, Hydrocotyle verticillata, Ludwigia octovalvis, Bidens laevis. NPS accession no. SAAN-00304, NPS catalog no. 20287.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
