Locality: United States, Florida, Columbia, United States: Florida: Columbia County. T6S, R15E, S24 Four and 0.5 miles NW of Fort White off of US 27 in Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Ca. 0.5 mile NE of South Entrance in E portion of section 1B, next to firebreak. Former pine plantation and sandhill community. Small herb; pods black, sounds like a rattle. Frequent. Growing with Toxicodendron toxicarium, Hieracium gronovii, and Chamaecrista fasciculata.
