Locality: United States, Florida, Franklin, United States: Florida: Franklin County. St. Joe Buffer WMA. Approx. 2 miles north of Eastpoint. From SR 98, head north on Bay Shore Road. Turn right on Plum St. and follow until gate. From gate, proceed north about 0.5 miles. Plot on west side of road. Magnolia Bluff unit of St. Joeseph Bufferl. Plot very close to Apalachicola Bay and salt marsh. Mixed canopy of young Pinus palustris and P. elliotii. No midstory. Ground cover of thick Serenoa repens. and sparse grasses. Site burned by very hot fire in April, 2001. Lat. 29º 46.200'N Long. 84º 52.526'W Datum: NAD83.
