Locality: Haiti, Sud, Haiti: Sud. Massif de la Hotte. Camp Perrin. Hillside with Plagiodontia colony ca. 0.25 miles from FSM-rented house across river. Forest with Bursera, Simarouba, Comocladia, Chrysophyllum, Dendropanax, Plumeria, Psychotria, and Exothea. Alt. 200-300 m. Occasional on limestone. Sterile.
Reproductive Condition: vegetative

Notes: [Admin. note:] Alternate data not on label but in database: "Massif de la Hotte. Camp Perrin. Forested hill just W (across Riviere du Sud) from town. Hill with population of Plagiodontia. Elev. 250-300 m. Disturbed forest on limestone with Chrysophyllum, Cupania, Myrcianthes, Lantana, Kalanchoe, Clusia, Allophylus, Croton. Less disturbed E and NE slopes. Occasional around limestone rocks. Sterile."
