Artificial farm pond, 1.5 acres, 10--12 ft. deep, completely lined, with no inlet or outlet.
Pond's owners have no idea how the hydrilla came to be there. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and WI DNR personnel believe it was brought in with nursery-stocked plants. All plants in the pond were killed using Aquathol K, and the pond was drawn down completely and froze the winter of 2007--2008. [Leg.: A. S. Bellows & P. Leisten, 15 Jul 2007; verified & pressed, 19 Jul 2007, labeled & mounted, 17 Oct 2009, when the DNR finally released the location, by T. S. Cochrane as no. 15137.]
