Oenothera elata, Achillea millefolium, Euthamia occidentalis, Sisymbrium altissimum, Euphorbia esula, Rumex crispus, Dipsacus fullonum, Convolvulus arvensis and other ruderals
Involucral heads small, <=1.2 cm wide; tallest/most robust plant estimated to be 8 dm tall; leaves pliant, leaves and stems with simple, appressed to ascending hairs, phyllary hairs sparse; stems appearing to be mostly solitary with basal leaves few or absent at time of anthesis
Flowering
Very few plants ( < 5) were accessible other than the clustered group (see main picture depicting perhaps 20 to 25 plants) over a very small area, so only a portion of one of the accessible plants was collected without roots.
