Habitat: Rare, a few clumps in weedy successional woodland on calcareous clay loam of formerly cultivated floodplain. Woodland dominated by young Celtis laevigata, saplings of Carya illinoinensis, older Prosopis glandulosa; ground layer dominated by Torilis arvensis, Calyptocarpus vialis, Cynodon dactylon and containing dozens of weedy forbs. NPS accession no. SAAN-00304, NPS catalog no. 20103.
Reproductive Condition: flowering + fruiting=mid
