Locality: United States, Tennessee, White, 111 South, exit to Kentucky Rd turn right , which will lead into Airport Rd. The collection location was a fourth of a mile from the airport. (which was a short walk away through the woods on the right), along the road side, and a dirt path on the left near the end of the road where it splits. Specimen was found on the left side of airport industrial drive near a small cluster of trees and flora. Latitude: 36.05525 Longitude: -85.52498.
Habitat: Areas collected were the wetland (which was a short walk away through the woods on the right), along the road side, and a dirt path on the left near the end of the road where it splits. Specimen was found on the left side of airport industrial drive near a small sluster of trees and flora. Very sunny and seemed to be dry, and was on a slight hill. Elevation: 1051 feet. St. Peter's Wort is commonly found in the Cumberland Plateau. It thrives in wet or moist sandy soils. This specimen is about 12- 14 in. in length. The leaves are opposite. At the tip one will see an umbel inflorescence of yellow flowers.
