Locality: United States, Tennessee, Fentress, Twin arches stop on field trip. Specimen found on top of summit where we stopped to admire the view about 6 ft. after the steep incline.

Habitat: Habitat was very sunny and dry, other species present were Virginia pines.

Notes: shrub with white flowers, many stamens, and alternate leaves
