Locality: United States, Tennessee, Polk, Found along banks and in the woods (and surrounding areas) of 489 Horns Creek Road,Old Fort, Tennessee, approximately 49 miles NE of Chattanooga. Fairly large population scattered throughout the area. Elev. Ca. 1000 ft.
Habitat: Fairly large population scattered throughout area. Rhizomous plant with offshoots. the flowers are bluish to violet with white and/or yellow band in the center. It has 2 crested ridges which are very distinct. Elevation 1000 ft.
