Locality: United States, Tennessee, Cumberland, Crossville, Off of Hwy 70, Obed River Park, Several trail entrances lead to paved path along river. Found on side of paved path opposite the river and along some unpaved trails in the woods.

Description: Strong trailing roots near surface of soil. Was in bloom on date found with lavender flowers no bigger than 2 inches. The inflorescense is solitary with three large sepals curved downward and three smaller petals curving upward and often touching. Had golden yellow falls on the sepals with white ed

Notes: The park does controlled burnings in these areas every few years
