Locality: United States, Kentucky, Menifee, On western point of Hatton Ridge within 15 meters of sandstone outcrop and overlook. Undesignated user trail leads to lookout on this point. Ca. 1.5 km ssw of Hatton Ridge Cemetary. Ca. 0.6 km west of Hatton Ridge Road, which is typically closed to vehicle traffic.
Notes:
4 parted flower. 2 pistils or one pistlil with two stigmas. Not strongley aeromatic but wood smelled of watermelon or pumpkin when fresh. Calyx and corrolla present. Calyx brown, corrolla pale dull yellow.
