This diverse collection contains around 250 families of plants, with the strongest representation in Asteraceae, Lauraceae, Myrtaceae, and Fabaceae. Collection dates range from 1859 to the present. The collection is housed in the Avenir Collections Center - an onsite state-of-the-art museum collections facility.
